Moebius is an Award winning company fully dedicated to High-Quality Architectural Offshore Outsourcing Services. Founded in the year 2003 by Architects with many years of shared knowledge and experience, our company specializes in Architectural Design and Documentation. Our clients are mainly Architecture Firms and Developers.

Through Moebius, clients have immediate access to a highly educated, English & Spanish-speaking and well-trained professionals that deliver world-class architectural support services following international standards. Our headquarters and Development Center is in Uruguay, South America. Moebius is currently in the process of building its presence in the US.

Services

Our services are customized to each specific requirement. We work either following international standards or our client’s standards. We provide Revit Building models (BIM) and CAD drawings.

Communication is the key to success when outsourcing. This is why we keep permanent multi-media contact with our clients by e-mail, phone or Sype. Moebius is located in a time zone of close proximity to the US. This provides us with an advantage over our Asian counterparts with respect to US off-shoring.

News: MOEBIUS in a Harvard doctorate dissertation

Doctor of Design and Master in Design Studies from Harvard University, David del Villar, chose Moebius as one of six case studies on Remote Collaboration for his book "Understanding Outsourcing Architectural Services". News: MOEBIUS Principal in Academic Competition
Architect Luis Rocca was a judge in the Academic Competition New York 2007 organized by Architectum. His presence in this competition was part of the award won by Moebius in Kuelap 2007 Architecture Contest. The challenge this time was the design of a Tower-Museum to celebrate the cosmopolitan, urban and global character of New York City. Arquitectum received 280 projects from all over the world. The winner was a project developed by a team of French and Italian contestants called "Waltz of the Wind".
News: MOEBIUS award winning company
Over 178 teams from all over the world and 115 projects took part in this competition organized by Arquitectum. The objective was the design of a Lodge/Museum inserted in an archaeological Peruvian landscape which would celebrate and respect the natural scenario. Moebius designed a Green Building Lodge/Museum which mimics the natural surrounding of Chachapoyas, Peru.
News: MOEBIUS in New Technologies Seminar

Moebius Principals and Moebius Director of Communications held a lecture in a Seminar organized by the Facultad de Arquitectura y Urbanismo (University of Architecture and Urbanism) called "ARQuitectura por interNET desde UruguaY" ("Architecture from Uruguay by the Internet') . The objective of the Seminar was teaching the students what architectural e-working is all about. After a brief introduction of Moebius, they focused on the practical aspects of e-working, for example: what tools and aptitudes are needed to start working and how to find the first clients and projects. It was a very enlightening experience for them and hopefully for the students as well.

News: Project on the boards
One of Moebius latest projects belongs in the corporate sector. Moebius developed the Preliminary Design of a 3-story office building located in Texas. The design of this small-scale urban/modern office building includes a charming central spatiality delimited by water, glass and several bridges crossing at all levels. More information...
